Artist Statement
I am often captivated by color, shapes and lines. Whether it’s a single red flower against a wall of green or how the light reflects off a lavender sweater into a pair of dark brown eyes. Looking at the world around me, shapes and forms merge, coalesce, break apart and merge back together. The accidental alignment of this form with that form, these are the things that I try to capture in my drawings and paintings.
